^^^^As well as focussing upon the impact modern housing developments have upon the creatures affected and on our environment generally, the storylines also show readers that when warnings are given, it is very foolish to ignore them, or to laugh at those who issue such warnings, even if they don’t seem very plausible at the time of issue.
